With the Dark Elf army threatening to penetrate into Bretonnian lands using a bridge originally built by the Bretonnians, 2 armies converged on the bridgehead to repel the invaders.

Above:  Bretonnain archers crowd the shoreline as the first unit of knights rides out onto the bridge to confront the on-coming Dark Elves.

Above:  The Bretonnian General on his Hippogriff sizes up the Cold One Knights on the opposite shoreline.  He's holding his valuable Grail Knights and Battle Standard Bearer (on the right) for the second wave.

Above:  Knights on the bridge.  I custom made the battlefield for this scenario.

Above:  Once the knights were on their way, the Bretonnian Lord moved to confront his Dark Elf counter-part flying across the river on a Black Dragon.  Although the Bretonnian will unseat the Dark Elf Lord, the Black Dragon will rule the day and over run into the nearby Trebuchet (below) before being confronted by the Heroine on the Pegasus.

Below:  Charge!!  Two immovable objects clash on the bridge.  Several rounds of combat follow before the Bretonnians are routed, but the Grail Knights are there to follow up with a charge of their own.

Following a Bretonnian victory at the bridge, the Dark Elf spearhead is thwarted and turns back north.
