40K Showcase Navigational Page
Although I am not playing 40K these days, I have played for several years in the past and have been maintaining an army in case I need to do so again in the future. The last of these is my Iron Warriors, which I have chosen to retire this year. (I've given up any future prospects of playing 40K since Games Workshop retired my current army without warning and, somehow, expects me to start collecting an entire new force. Having gone through this several times in the Fantasy genre and coupling this with the ruining of the Fantasy rules of 7th Edition, I've decided I've had enough). However, I have been maintaining a photographic record of my previous armies and I also still paint 40K models from time to time as a Contracted painter (painting a figure for the money) or as a gift to a friend. Therefore, this page is dedicated to the extent of my 40K experience.

Below is where I will post pictures of other 40K projects I have dabbled in.

This model of High Marshall Helbrecht was a gift project I did for my buddy JP in Kansas (a Black Templars player). Rather than paint him up in Gold (which seems to be the most popular option) I thought it made sense to paint him in a pallet that corresponded to the army scheme (black armor with white and red emblems). So, I chose the white with a black tabbard and cape. The pattern on the cape was inspired by a Golden Daemon winner I found online. Had I not been holding the model for almost a year, I would've put a Templar's cross on the back of the cape, but ran out of motivation before I got that far.
